Cause Catalyze Conserve Communicate

Court Squires has been devoted to community service and conservation for more than three decades. She studied conservational biology and journalism as an undergraduate student at Boston University. After graduation she fluctuated between the investigative journalism realm and the nonprofit world. Squires balanced both for several years before returning to the classroom to study international business. The former editor launched and managed several publications, anchored and produced radio and television shows, and delved into online media before it went mainstream. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania to pursue a master's degree in Organizational Dynamics with a focus on Sustainable Development. Her final foray into media occurred when she designed and executed the national launch of an environmental lifestyle publication, before she ventured back into the world of nonprofit and began work for a conservation organization just north of Capitol Hill.

Squires sat and continues to sit on myriad nonprofit advisory boards including roles as: Kids N Kamp Advisory Board member, Richmond SPCA Advisory Board member, The Pajama Program New Jersey County Coordinator, and The Fund for Alexandria's Child Sponsorship Chair. She also volunteered on behalf of Howling Woods Farm Wolf Sanctuary, Richmond SPCA, Make A Wish Foundation, supports
the Snow Leopard Conservancy, and obtained several accolades along the way, equally divvied between excellence in journalism and her contribution to society. She was honored by the international corporation Aura Science for her work with Kids N Kamp, a Columbus-based childhood cancer camp organization, and named as an honoree for the Humane Society of the United States ProtectSeals campaign.

Squires works up and down the Eastern Seaboard, primarily Boston, New York and Washington DC. She also works with national and international organizations on each coast, and across the globe.
